The dating reality show Splitsvilla X6 is approaching its grand finale, with fans actively backing their favourite contestants. In the latest episode, a ticket-to-finale challenge took place between the contestants, and Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu and Kaira Anu emerged victorious, becoming the first pair to secure a spot in the finale. They narrowly defeated Yogesh Rawat and Ruru Thakur in the task. Shortly after the episode aired on Splitsvilla X6, Gullu and Kaira shared emotional notes on Instagram. Gullu mentioned that he had also won a Ticket to Finale on Roadies, and both times his win came by just a one-second margin. He added that while people often call it luck, they don’t see the effort and hard work behind it.

In his note, Gullu wrote,
“Same hunger. Same hustle. Same result. Last year Roadies me Ticket To Finale iss saal Splitsvilla me. Aur dono baar bas 1 second ka difference. People call it luck but they don’t see the hustle, pressure, sacrifices & sleepless nights behind it. Back to back prove karna easy nahi hota but we still did it.”

Kaira Reflects On Her Journey
Meanwhile, Kaira also reacted to her and Gullu winning the Ticket To Finale. She wrote, “TICKET TO FINALE…..omg, who would’ve thought? When I first came from Canada to MTV Splitsvilla, I thought I’d only be here for 15 days. Bas ek do episodes karke I’d go back to my clinic and continue with my normal life. I never imagined this journey would change me the way it did. And then… I met him. Someone for whom this wasn’t just a show or a dream — it was his whole life, his passion, his everything. Somewhere between all the chaos, challenges, emotions, and memories, destiny quietly wrote a story neither of us saw coming.”

She further added, “Life truly has the weirdest and most beautiful way of making things happen. Little did I know that from being unsure of my place here, we would become the first finalists of MTV Splitsvilla x6. There were so many moments when people doubted me, underestimated me, and made me feel like I wasn’t capable enough to make it this far. But through every setback, the universe stood by me. Every tear, every breakdown, every lesson led me right here. And honestly… this is not the end of the journey, it’s only the beginning.”
During the Ticket To Finale task, Yogesh–Ruru and Gullu–Kaira reached the final round in a close contest. Gullu and Kaira managed to win by just one second, leaving Yogesh and Ruru emotional over the narrow loss. Hosts Karan Kundrra and Sunny Leone congratulated the winners and awarded them the coveted “ticket to finale.”
