Vijay Varma Denies Viral Reservation Post Shared In His Name: ‘This Is All False’

Actor Vijay Varma has dismissed claims that a widely circulated social media post on reservation and privilege was written by him. As the message gained traction online, many users attributed it to the actor, assuming it reflected his personal views on the ongoing debate surrounding reservation and equal opportunity.

Vijay, however, quickly set the record straight, stating that the viral post had nothing to do with him.

The post, which had been extensively shared across social media platforms, narrated the story of two friends from different financial backgrounds preparing for a government examination. It argued that economic privilege often influences access to resources and opportunities while touching upon

the broader discussion around reservation and fairness.

As the message continued to circulate, many users began sharing it under Vijay Varma’s name, believing he had authored it.

The actor addressed the misinformation on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “I never posted this. This is all false.”

With that brief statement, Vijay distanced himself from the viral message and clarified that he had not made any public comment in the manner being claimed online.

Vijay’s response arrives at a time when conversations around education, examinations and equal opportunities have intensified across the country. Several celebrities have recently voiced their opinions on student-related issues following widespread protests over alleged examination irregularities.

The actor himself had reacted to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation earlier this week. Instead of issuing a detailed statement, Vijay shared an Instagram post featuring a lyric from Channa Mereya, the popular song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, drawing attention online.

His latest clarification, however, was aimed solely at correcting misinformation that had spread rapidly on social media.

On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in Matka King, a crime drama directed by Nagraj Manjule. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s matka gambling network during the 1960s and 1970s, the series featured him as Brij Bhatti, a man who builds a gambling empire despite humble beginnings.
