Jankee Mehta Is ‘Super Proud’ Of Nakuul Mehta’s Space Gen: Chandrayaan Trailer

Actor Nakuul Mehta is set to headline a new series that brings one of India’s most defining scientific journeys to the screen. Titled Space Gen: Chandrayaan, the show traces ISRO’s path from the setback of the Chandrayaan-2 mission to the landmark success of Chandrayaan-3.

The recently released trailer has received an encouraging response, with viewers praising its scale, emotion and focus on India’s space programme. Amid the growing buzz, Nakuul’s wife Jankee Mehta shared a warm note of support for the actor.

Taking to Instagram, she reposted the trailer and expressed her pride in his new project. Along with the video, Jankee wrote, “Super proud of you baby,” a message that quickly caught the attention

of fans and well-wishers.

Nakuul and Jankee share a long-standing bond that goes back to their teenage years. The two were together for over a decade before tying the knot on January 28, 2012, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. Over the years, they have often spoken about growing together through different phases of life and career.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Sufi, in February 2021. In August 2025, their family grew with the arrival of their daughter, Rumi.

Nakuul Mehta spoke about being a part of the show. He told IANS, “Space Gen: Chandrayaan changed the way I look at success and failure. The show will premiere on January 23 on JioHotstar.
