Tiger Shroff’s spokesperson has denied reports claiming that the actor questioned why he had been targeted in the firing incident outside his Mumbai residence.
The clarification comes after reports suggested that Tiger had recorded his statement with the Mumbai Crime Branch in connection with the October 18 incident. Some reports also claimed that the actor was still shaken by what had happened and had questioned the possible motive behind the attack.
Tiger’s spokesperson, however, has said that the actor never made the remarks being attributed to him.
Tiger Shroff’s Team Calls Report ‘Completely Untrue’
According to Times Now, Tiger’s spokesperson dismissed the statement attributed to the actor and said no such conversation had taken place.
“This
news is completely untrue. Tiger has not made any such statement. No such thing has happened,” the spokesperson said.
Earlier reports had quoted Tiger as saying that he remained in shock after the firing and could not understand why anybody would want to target him.
The statement attributed to him read, “Who would want to carry out such a life-threatening attack on me, and why? I have no enmity with anyone… so why was I attacked?”
Tiger’s team has now clearly denied that the actor said this.
What Happened In The Tiger Shroff Firing Case?
The incident reportedly took place on the evening of October 18, 2026, in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
According to reports, two men riding a motorcycle allegedly opened fire at Tiger’s car. The actor escaped major harm, while his driver and a bystander were reportedly injured during the incident.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has been investigating the firing and is reportedly examining several possible angles.
Investigators are also probing a suspected link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Another line of investigation reportedly involves whether the attack was part of a larger conspiracy intended to create fear within the film industry.
Reports have also claimed that the accused practised shooting near Mumbai before allegedly carrying out the attack.
11 People Reportedly Arrested Or Detained
As the investigation continues, 11 people have reportedly been arrested or detained in connection with the case.
One of the accused is 22-year-old Pranjal Thakran, who was arrested in Indore. He is alleged to have acted as a link between the shooters and suspected mastermind Anil Pandit.
Investigators reportedly believe that communication between those involved took place through encrypted applications.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has also reportedly recovered two firearms and 10 live cartridges from Surat during the investigation.
Authorities have invoked provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, or MCOCA, against the accused.
Tiger’s spokesperson has, meanwhile, restricted the latest clarification to the reports about the actor’s alleged statement, making it clear that the remarks questioning the motive behind the attack did not come from him.
