Ram Gopal Varma Hails Ram Charan’s ‘Explosive Form’ In Peddi Song Chikiri: ‘After A Long Time...'

The first song from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Peddi, titled ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ was released a few days ago. The peppy dance number featuring the lead pair left fans mighty impressed, and further heightened excitement for the film’s release. Now, Ram Gopal Varma took to his social media to heap praise on Ram Charan. He said wrote that he saw the actor in his most real, raw and explosive form in the song after a long time. He also credited director Buchi Babu Sena for keeping the focus solely on the star, allowing Ram Charan’s performance to take center stage instead of being overshadowed by massive sets, overblown production, or hundreds of dancers.

his thoughts about Chikiri Chikiri song. “The true purpose of every craft in cinema, be it direction, music, cinematography etc should be only to elevate the HERO. After a long time, I saw @AlwaysRamCharan in his most raw, real, and explosive form in the #peddi song Chikiri Chikiri,” he wrote.

He further added, “Hey @BuchiBabuSena kudos to you for understanding that a star shines brightest when stripped of unnecessary glitter , not drowned in massive sets, overblown production design, or a speck between hundreds of dancers.. Ram Charan’s Hook Step In Chikiri Song Goes Viral

When Ram Charan shared the promo of the song, it was his beedi hook step that grabbed attention. Fans dropped fire emojis. Recently, a video also went viral in which he was seen risking himself at a cliff and performing stunts. The song has been composed by AR Rahman and sung by Mohit Chauhan.
