Rashmika Mandanna, who has been making headlines for her reported engagement to longtime boyfriend and actor Vijay Deverakonda, finally broke her silence — not with words, but with a stunning new Instagram
post. The actress shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the making of Thamma’s first song, Tum Mere Na Huye, offering fans a glimpse into the film’s scenic shoot and her glamorous avatar.
The romantic number, released a few days ago, has already taken the internet by storm. Rashmika, who plays the lead in Aditya Sarpotdar’s upcoming horror-comedy, revealed that the song was an impromptu decision made by the makers during the film’s final shooting schedule.
“The story behind this song is that we were shooting at a very, very stunning location for about 10–12 days and on the last day, our producers and our director suddenly had a banging idea,” she wrote. “They went like, ‘Wait, why don’t we shoot a song here? It’s a crazy cool location, so why not?’ And I was like, why not! In about three or four days, we made all of this possible. Watching it in the end, we were massively surprised,” she added.
The actress also used the opportunity to thank the crew for their dedication and hard work. “A big, big shout-out to all the dancers, the costume department, the set guys, the lights department, the direction department, the production department — everyone. This song was possible because of your hard work. They are now your Tadaka and Alok. I hope you love them, feel them, dance with them, and enjoy watching them,” Rashmika wrote in her caption.
Her post arrives just as reports of her engagement to Vijay Deverakonda have taken over social media. As per Hindustan Times, Vijay’s team has confirmed that the couple is officially engaged and is planning to get married in February 2026. While the two stars have yet to publicly confirm the news, Rashmika’s latest pictures in a red saree only added fuel to the ongoing speculation.
“This year, I’m feeling extra grateful because of all the love you’ve been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song. Your excitement, your constant support — you make every moment bigger and happier for me,” she wrote.
Interestingly, Rashmika had earlier dropped hints about her relationship during the Pushpa 2 promotions last year. When asked if she would marry someone from the film industry, she smiled and replied, “Everyone knows about it,” sending fans — and even co-star Allu Arjun — into laughter.
Despite frequent public sightings together and widespread fan curiosity, both Rashmika and Vijay have remained private about their relationship.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s Thamma, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The film releases in cinemas on October 21, 2025, while the actress has also wrapped up Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon.
