Lucknow, Sep 6 (PTI) A 22-year-old man died and two others sustained injuries, when their car hit a divider near the Nakkhas flyover here late Saturday night, police said on Sunday.
Police said that, according to preliminary information, the incident happened when the car was travelling from Haiderganj towards Chowk. Near the Nakkhas flyover, the vehicle went out of control and collided with the road divider.
They said three people were inside the vehicle: Mohd Arsad (22), Kaif (22) and Abdul Ali (23).
Police said the injured people were taken to the Trauma Centre, KGMU, where a doctor declared Arsad dead.
Police said the deceased’s family members arrived at the scene and, following a commotion, took the body away without a post-mortem examination.
