During one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 17, Dharmendra made an appearance, reuniting with Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arbaaz Khan. On the occasion, Krushna Abhishek came and, while talking to everyone, joked about how many glasses broke during the filming of Jamal Kadu and later requested everyone, including Dharmendra, to try the hook step of the song.

To this, Dharmendra, with the help of Sohail and Krushna, got up from his chair and tried to recreate the iconic step of his son. In a playful mood, Dharmendra was seen holding a glass in his hands and later mimicking drinking from it.

Later in the video, Bobby Deol paid a heartfelt tribute to his father, Dharmendra, celebrating his 63 glorious years in cinema. He expressed awe at his father’s dedication, saying, “It’s incredible that you’re still doing films, you’ve just shot two new ones!” Bobby went on to call himself blessed to be Dharmendra’s son and hailed him as a “legend,” leaving the veteran actor visibly emotional.

Since last night, several rumours about the actor’s health have been circulating on social media.Earlier today, reports claimed that Dharmendra had passed away. It was said that the actor, who has been hospitalised since November 1, breathed his last on Monday in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. However, soon after, Hema Malini and Esha Deol took to their social media handles to rubbish such claims.

On Tuesday morning, Hema Malini took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle and clarified that the actor is “recovering.” “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy,” the actress-turned-politician wrote.

Esha Deol also took to her Instagram handle and issued a statement, saying, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.”

The last update on the He-Man’s health was given by Sunny Deol’s team. In an official statement, the actor’s team shared, “Sir is recovering and responding to treatment. Let’s all pray for his good health and long life.”
