ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot owned by Sam Altman’s OpenAI, faced a disruption on Monday, with thousands of users reporting outage issues across multiple regions.
According to data from Downdetector, user reports showed problems with ChatGPT on Monday. At the time of writing this article, the complaints related to the platform have crossed more than 1,000 complaints on DownDetector. Right after a few minutes, the number of complaints jumped from under 1,000 to above 1,500.

ChatGPT’s status checker said it was currently experiencing issues on both its main platform and Codex. “Users may encounter issues with ChatGPT Business after upgrade or adding new seats for up to an hour. We have applied the mitigation and are monitoring the recovery,” it said.
