New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) The Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library (PMML) on Wednesday launched its unified portal, which consolidates multiple disconnected websites into a single, accessible and citizen-centric digital platform, officials said.
“The Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library today launched a unified portal, marking a significant step towards consolidating multiple disconnected websites into a single, modern, accessible and citizen-centric digital platform,” the PMML said in a statement.
Addressing long-standing challenges of fragmented user journeys, inconsistent branding, limited discoverability of archival content, and manual workflows, the portal delivers a seamless digital experience, and serves as a discoverable archival ecosystem,
an immersive knowledge destination, and a robust platform for citizen engagement, it said.
Its key features include mobile-first, accessible design for all citizens across devices, intelligent citizen assistance with robust content workflows, smart search and analytics and citizen services such as events listing, tender publishing, downloads repository, photo and video galleries, and ticket management, the PMML said.
The portal also includes a dynamic CMS, an AI-enabled chatbot, which will be functional soon, for intelligent citizen assistance and feedback systems, auto-archival workflows, intelligent content discovery, and real-time engagement dashboards including for feedback, the statement said.
Built on a modern technology stack, the portal is fully compliant with known accessibility standards and security norms. It also features role-based access control, and comprehensive audit trails.
Launching the portal, PMML Director Ashwani Lohani said it underscores “PMML’s commitment for accessible and future-ready digital public services while preserving and promoting India’s rich political and cultural heritage for citizens and researchers worldwide”. PTI KND ARI
