(Ukd), Jul 22 (PTI) A pilgrim died of a heart attack on Wednesday morning shortly after entering India via the Lipulekh Pass following the completion of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, officials said on Wednesday.
Dharchula Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ashish Joshi said Gauri Shankar Khandelwal (63), a resident of Rajasthan, was part of the second batch of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra that returned to India in the morning.
He added that after being declared dead by Army doctors, the pilgrim’s body was airlifted to Pithoragarh in a state helicopter. PTI DPT SKY SKY
