Cardi B’s estranged husband, rapper Offset, took a dig at the Up singer’s relationship choices in his latest album. On October 31, the rapper released an album titled Haunted By Fame, where he criticised
Cardi B’s relationship with new boyfriend Stefan Diggs.
In one of the songs titled No Sweat, Offset was seen rapping, “How the fuck do you leave Jordan for Rodman?” referring to basketball stars Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman. “You’re a fool if you think that I’m hurt. You aren’t happy; I know how it works. How are you married and still giving birth? Get some help, bitch; you’re going berserk.” The lyrics seemingly pointed a finger at Cardi B’s relationship choices.
What Do We Know About Cardi B’s Relationship With Offset?
In 2017 Cardi B started dating fellow rapper Offset and tied the knot secretly in 2017, one month before their public proposal. Later, Cardi confirmed it herself on social media. The rappers share two daughters and a son together, including Kulture Kiari, Blossom Belle, and Wave Set.
Although the couple split in 2020 but later reconciled. In July 2024, Cardi filed for a divorce from Offset. She later accused the rapper of dragging out the process and claimed that he demanded she cover his tax debts before finalising the split.
Earlier this month Offset made an appearance on the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast and admitted to making mistakes in his marriage to Cardi B, including cheating. “I was definitely not perfect in the situation. There’s a lot of things that I did wrong. She did things that were wrong… I should’ve respected her way more,” he said, adding, “I made bad decisions as a man, like stepping out.”
Cardi B Moves On With Stefon Diggs
Amid her legal feuds with Offset, the Grammy winner revealed that she is expecting a child with the New England Patriots wide receiver, Stefon Diggs. Although Cardi and Stefon have been seeing each other for over a year, the singer-rapper has kept her relationship largely under wraps. During a recent interview with Billboard, Cardi B admitted that dating publicly after filing for divorce was difficult.
“It was very tough, but it is what it is. It’s tough hiding,” she shared, explaining, “It’s tough dating in your 30s, too, but I like him. I love him today. I was always scared of dating people because I’ve always been in a long relationship since I was, like, 21.”
