Fresh turmoil has reportedly broken out inside the Real Madrid dressing room after midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni were involved in a heated confrontation during training at Valdebebas on Wednesday.
According to MARCA, the incident began after a heavy challenge during a training drill sparked an angry exchange between the two players.
What started as a routine disagreement quickly escalated, with Valverde and Tchouameni allegedly shoving each other before teammates and staff stepped in to stop the situation from turning physical. The tension reportedly continued in the dressing room, where the argument carried on in what was described as a deeply unpleasant atmosphere.
While clashes in training are not unusual in elite football,
the growing number of incidents at Madrid has raised serious concerns about the state of the squad. The club is enduring another disappointing campaign after failing to secure a major trophy for a second consecutive season, and frustrations inside the camp now appear to be spilling into public view.
Real Madrid Going Bust?
This latest altercation comes amid reports of increasing divisions within the dressing room. Recent stories have linked Kylian Mbappe to a confrontation with a member of the coaching staff before a trip to Italy, while defender Antonio Rudiger was also reportedly involved in a separate training-ground incident with Alvaro Carreras.
Even more worrying for the club hierarchy are claims that several players have distanced themselves from manager Alvaro Arbeloa. Reports suggest that up to six squad members are no longer communicating with the Spanish coach, whose future at the club remains uncertain.
All of this drama is unfolding just days before another explosive edition of El Clasico against Barcelona. With Barcelona on the verge of sealing the La Liga title, Sunday’s clash could become even more volatile given the growing unrest within the Madrid camp.
