Kangana Ranaut Tells Yogesh Rawat 'Sharminda Ho Jao' Over Cheater Tag: 'Agar Tumne Akanksha Ka Dil Toda...'

Kangana Ranaut did not hold back during her guest appearance on Lock Upp Season 2. Reviewing the contestants after the first week, the actor-politician singled out Yogesh Rawat over the ‘cheater’ tag he received during Splitsvilla X6, leaving the contestant visibly emotional.

Joining hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh on the sixth episode, Kangana shared her thoughts on several contestants. While she praised some inmates for their game, Yogesh found himself facing her toughest remarks.

Kangana Ranaut Calls Out Yogesh Rawat

Kangana began by calling Sunita Ahuja the most honest contestant in the house and described her as the mother figure everyone trusts. She also said Riyaz had remained “invisible” on the show so far.

She then turned to Yogesh

and said, “Cheater bolte hain log tumhe (People call you a cheater).” When Yogesh nodded, Kangana reacted immediately. “Haan ji kar rahe ho? Sharminda toh ho jaao thoda. Mujhe iss tarah ke ladko se itni nafraat hain, itni grihna hain… jo ladkiyo ka dil todte hain aur unko murkh banate hain. Aur agar tumne Akanksha [Chaudhary] ka dil toda, toh main tumhe todne aaungi (You are nodding? Show some shame atleast. I have so much hate and disgust for guys who break the hearts of girls and make them fools. If you break Akanksha’s heart again, I will come and break you).”

Yogesh reacted by saying the tag had been given to him by others and did not define who he was.

Yogesh Breaks Down In Tears

The confrontation seemed to affect Yogesh deeply. Later in the episode, he went to the washroom and broke down in tears away from the other contestants. Akanksha Chaudhary later comforted him and encouraged him not to dwell on what others were saying.

Why Was Yogesh Given The ‘Cheater’ Tag?

The controversy dates back to the grand finale of Splitsvilla X6, where contestant Ruru alleged that Yogesh met Akanksha while he was still in a relationship with her. Yogesh denied the allegation but admitted that he liked Akanksha.

During the dating reality show, Yogesh had paired up with Akanksha before later confessing his love to Ruru after she entered the show as a wildcard contestant. The incident led to him being associated with the ‘cheater’ tag, which resurfaced on Lock Upp.

First Elimination Of The Season

The latest episode also marked the first eviction of Lock Upp Season 2. Shrestha Iyer became the first contestant to leave the reality show, while Akanksha Chamola and Madhuri Jain Grover were saved from elimination and remain in the competition.
