Nandini CM, a young and talented actress known for her work in Kannada and Tamil television, tragically passed away at the age of 26 on December 29, 2025. She was found dead at her paying guest accommodation in Mylasandra, Kengeri, Bengaluru. The news of her sudden death has left fans and the South television industry in shock.

Born in Ballari, Karnataka, Nandini completed most of her early education near her hometown. She later moved to Bengaluru to pursue engineering, where she enrolled at RR Institute in Hesaraghatta. After she moved to the city, her fascination with acting grew. Nandini decided to follow her passion for performance and began formal training in acting at Rajarajeshwari Nagar.

Her acting journey started with television serials

that quickly made her a recognisable face in South India. She starred in popular Kannada shows such as Jeeva Hoovagide, Sangharsha, Madhumagalu, Neenade Naa and most notably, Gowri, where she played a dual role as Kanaka and Durga. Her performances won her appreciation for her incredible on-screen presence.

Nandini CM’s Personal Struggle

Despite her rising career, Nandini faced personal struggles. After the passing of her father in 2023, she was offered a government job on humanitarian grounds. She reportedly declined the opportunity, choosing to dedicate herself entirely to acting. According to reports, this decision led to differences with her family but Nandini remained committed to pursuing her dream on screen.

Nandini had been living in PG accommodations in Bengaluru since 2019, moving to Kengeri in August 2025. On the night of December 28, she returned to her PG after visiting a friend and the next morning, she was found dead. Reports suggest she had left a note expressing her desire to continue acting and that her family did not understand her aspirations.

It has also been reported that a note was found at the accommodation, which mentioned issues with family, being pressurised to marry and emotional distress. Kengeri police have registered a case of death by unnatural causes. An investigation into the matter is underway.

Though her life was short, Nandini CM left a mark with her talent and dedication. Fans remember her not only for her on-screen roles but also for her courage in following her passion despite challenges. Her untimely demise is a heartbreaking loss for the industry and her followers.
