DSSSB Exam Guidelines
1. Dress Code
Candidates must follow the dress code, wearing half-sleeved clothing without large buttons, brooches, or flowers. It is advisable to wear slippers or sandals instead of shoes, as shoes might need to be removed outside the centre.
2. Reporting Time
Adhere to the reporting time on your admit card. DSSSB exam centres will not tolerate any delay after the gate closing time. Given Delhi’s traffic and potential fog in February-March, arrive at least 1 hour early.
3. Photograph Requirement
Along with your admit card, bring two passport-sized photographs (the same as uploaded in the application form) and an original photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.). Photocopies of ID cards will not be accepted.
4. Prohibited Items
Pens, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, belts, wallets, sacred threads (kalava), and jewellery (earrings, rings) are prohibited. Leave these items at home or arrange to deposit them somewhere.
5. Signature and Thumb Impression on Admit Card
Do not sign or thumbprint your admit card at home. This must be done in the examination hall in front of the invigilator. A pre-signed card may be deemed invalid.
