Ward No. 185 (G/North) is one of the 227 wards of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), India’s largest Municipal Corporation. This ward is reserved for Scheduled Caste and has a total population of 50358, of which 1903 belong to the Scheduled Castes and 125 belong to the Scheduled Tribes.

Kataria Marg; thence westwards along the Central Railway Lines (Harbour Branch) upto its junction with Andhra Valley Road; thence northwards along the eastside of Andhra Valley Road upto its junction with Padmabhushan V.K. Krishna Menon Road (90’feet Road); thence northwards along the eastside of V.K. Krishna Menon Road upto its junction with Bharatratna Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Road No.1; thence eastwards along the southside of Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Road No.1 upto its junction with ‘A’ lane between Block No1 and Block 5;thence northwards along the eastside of the said Lane upto its junction with Shramik Vidhypeeth Road; thence eastwards along the southside of Shramik Vidyapith Road upto its junction with Mahatma Gandhi Road; thence northwards along the eastside of Mahatma Gandhi Road upto its junction with Sant Rohidas Marg; thence eastwards along the southside of Sant Rohidas Marg upto its junction with Central Railway Lines……the starting point. PREVIOUS BMC ELECTION RESULT
The last Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections were held on February 21, 2017, in which Shiv Sena was the single largest party with 84 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party won 82 seats. Indian National Congress secured 31 seats, Nationalist Congress Party won nine, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won seven seats. Other parties included Samajwadi Party, which won six seats; the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won two seats and the Akhil Bhartiya Sena won a single seat. Five Independent candidates also won seats in the election.
