After a lot of uncertainty, we now know that Diljit is coming to Delhi for his scheduled concert at JLN Stadium on October 30. And now, for some concertgoers, the biggest question is what to wear. For others, it is whether their phone will survive the entire evening. A fan heading to Diljit Dosanjh’s concert has raised a rather dilemma: if power banks are not allowed inside, how is she supposed to record the show, make reels and ensure her phone has enough battery for the journey home?
In a video shared on Instagram, user Unfiltered_sanyukta tagged Diljit Dosanjh, his team and BookMyShow, asking for clarity on whether power banks would be permitted at the upcoming concert. “I have a huge concern to ask… Main pichle baar Diljit ke concert mein
gayi hu, Karan paaji ke concert mein gayi hu. Kisi ne mere power bank nahi rakhwaya. Diljit paaji ne mera lip gloss rakhwa liya tha. But is baar, sunne mein araha hai ki power banks allowed nahi hoga. Toh main power bank leke jaun ya na jaun.”
The fan said she had seen a reel claiming that power banks would not be allowed at the upcoming show, prompting her to seek an official answer. For someone travelling from Sonipat to Delhi, the concern goes beyond capturing a few songs on camera.
She explained that her iPhone’s battery health was already a worry and questioned whether her phone would last through the concert and the journey back. “Should I not make videos? Should I not show people that I have spent a lot of money?” she asked jokingly, adding that she wanted to record the experience and make reels.
Then came the detail that made her plea more important: she has a cute power bank, does not want to risk having it confiscated at the venue and cannot afford to spend another ₹1,500 on a replacement. Her final question was simple: “Should I take the power bank or not?”
‘Bhai, Same Issue’: Internet Has Suggestions
The comments section quickly turned into a discussion among concertgoers who appeared equally concerned about keeping their phones charged.
“Bhai same issueeeeee💔💔💔 lmk if u get to know,” one user wrote, echoing the fan’s predicament.
Another commenter suggested waiting for official information rather than relying on social media speculation: “Restricted items ki list aayegi 24-48 hours before the concert… usme clear hojega 🫡”
Others offered less conventional advice. “Shoes mei rakh kar sneak in easy,” one comment suggested, while another user jokingly pointed out that power banks are often not permitted at concerts anyway.
