Actor Celina Jaitly has opened up about her ongoing personal struggles, including a legal battle and divorce proceedings, while also sharing an emotional note about healing and self-recovery.
Legal Battle And Personal Challenges
Celina is currently engaged in a legal dispute after filing a complaint against Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter Haag under the Domestic Violence Act. She has accused him of domestic violence, cruelty and manipulation.
Alongside this, the actress is also dealing with distress on the family front. Her brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Jaitly, who has been detained in the UAE since September 6, 2024, has reportedly not been in contact with her or extended any legal support.
A Candid Reflection On Healing
Amid these challenges,
Celina took to social media on April 4 to share a series of glamorous photos, accompanied by a deeply personal message about her journey.
She spoke about the unseen struggles behind her public smile, writing, “If you see me living happy, eating my favorite food, smiling in a beautiful dress… just let me be. You didn’t see the nights I cried alone. You didn’t see the days I felt completely empty. You don’t know how many times I almost gave up on myself.”
Her post reflected on the quiet battles she has fought, emphasising how her current sense of happiness has come through resilience and self-reliance.
‘The Smile Was Built Through Pain’
Celina further shared that the peace she now feels is something she has earned over time. Encouraging others going through difficult phases, she urged them to turn inward rather than seek validation from the outside world.
“Don’t chase the world; come back to yourself. But once you do, choose to heal. Choose to grow. Choose to become stronger, calmer, more present, and more confident… one day at a time,” she wrote.
She also addressed the emotional process of healing, adding, “Crying is not weakness… it is release. And one day… the tears will dry.”
