Sep 19 (PTI) Three persons were arrested allegedly with three pistols and 11 cartridges during a special drive of Mumbai police, an official said on Saturday.
He identified the accused as Wajidali Israr Malik (26), Sandip Ramashankar Upadhyay (34), and Rohit Avinash Sawant (36), who have been booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Arms Act and Maharashtra Police Act.
“The firearms and ammunition were seized during targeted operations conducted in Dahisar, Vanrai and Kurar localities of north Mumbai. The origin of the weapons and their intended recipient are being probed,” the official said. PTI ZA BNM
