New Delhi, Aug 11 (PTI) Piccadily Agro Industries on Tuesday reported a 15.35 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 21.30 crore for the June quarter of FY27, driven by its premium Alcobev portfolio.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.46 crore in the April-June period of the preceding financial year, according to a regulatory filing.
The maker of the largest-selling single malt whisky Indri and Camikara Rum reported an 18.12 per cent increase in total revenue from operations to Rs 270.50 crore in Q1 FY27.
“The company delivered a strong start to FY27, led by rapid growth in its Branded Alcobev portfolio comprising brands Indri Single Malt Whisky, Camikara Rum,” the company said in its earnings statement. A richer Distillery revenue mix and sustained
momentum across its premium spirits business also supported the overall growth in the quarter under review, the company said.
Total expenses of Piccadily Agro stood at 245.44 crore in the June quarter, up 19.84 per cent year-on-year.
During the quarter, revenue from the Distillery business grew 26.3 per cent to Rs 205.65 crore.
According to the company, the performance was supported by sustained consumer demand for its branded portfolio and disciplined execution.
Its branded Alcobev Business revenue grew 47.3 per cent YoY, reflecting strong market demand and increasing consumer acceptance across key markets.
The Branded Alcobev Business contributed 43.5 per cent of Distillery revenue, compared to 37.8 per cent in Q1FY26.
Its revenue from the Sugar business declined 1.5 per cent to Rs 65.16 crore in the first quarter of FY27.
Piccadily Agro’s total income stood 19.11 per cent higher at Rs 273.58 crore in the June quarter.
Commenting on the outlook, its Chief Financial Officer, Natwar Aggarwal, said, “We expect to deliver 60–70 per cent growth for the full year, with H2 being the main driver and contributing approximately 60–65 per cent of our annual revenue.” Shares of Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd on Tuesday settled at Rs 778.70 apiece, up 1.29 per cent, on the BSE.
