Chandigarh, Jun 24 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday stopped his convoy to assist two youths who sustained serious injuries in a road accident on the Ladwa-Babain road in Kurukshetra district.
The chief minister was on his way to attend a programme when he noticed the two injured motorcycle riders lying on the roadside, according to an official statement.
Saini immediately halted his convoy and enquired about their condition.
Upon finding that the youths were injured, he directed the ambulance accompanying his convoy to take them to a hospital without delay.
He also instructed officials to ensure that the injured received proper and timely medical treatment.
The injured were identified as Amit, a resident of Bir Kalwa village,
