Ranbir Kapoor Confirms Dual Role In Ramayana; Ranveer Singh Recreates Akshaye Khanna's Viral Dhurandhar Scene

Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed his double role in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. While he is headlining the film as Rama, he will also briefly be seen as Parshurama, who was Vishnu’s avatar before Rama. While this double role was teased in the latest Rama teaser, there had been no confirmation until now. Speaking to Collider at the recently held teaser launch in LA, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about how he used his body language and voice to play both Rama and Parshurama, as the characters have different temperaments.

Amid Dhurandhar 2 breaking box office records, Ranveer Singh made his first appearance on April 3 at the 3rd anniversary celebration

of NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre). He became the biggest highlight of the show, with people cheering loudly and capturing every moment as he lit up the stage with his infectious energy. Several videos from the event have surfaced on social media, one of which features him recreating Akshaye Khanna’s popular dialogue from Dhurandhar.

Malayalam filmmaker Ranjith Balakrishnan’s lawyer, Mohammed Siyad, will no longer represent him in the ongoing sexual assault case. Amid criticism for also being a member of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for the film, Siyad announced his decision to quit the case and revealed that he has asked the filmmaker’s family to hire another lawyer for the upcoming bail proceedings.

Sunanda was engaging with the crowd when a male fan suddenly jumped onto the stage.
