New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) More than 150 doctors, nurses, administrative officials and staff members of a hospital in Delhi’s Kashmere Gate participated in an environmental awareness and cleanliness drive on World Environment Day on Friday.
Sant Parmanand Hospital said the initiative was organised to promote sustainability, environmental responsibility and community well-being.
Participants took a pledge to keep the environment healthy, clean and safe by adopting sustainable practices, reducing pollution, conserving natural resources and encouraging environmentally responsible behaviour in everyday life.
As part of the initiative, the hospital team conducted cleanliness drives at Vasudev Park and Yamuna Ghat, where members actively participated in cleaning
activities and spread awareness about the importance of protecting public spaces and natural ecosystems.
Among those present were CEO, Dr S K Singh, Head of Orthopaedics, Dr Shekhar Srivastav, Head of Anesthesia Dr Mohanjeet Singh Juneja, Consultant Marketing Amit Tyagi, Consultant Internal Medicine Dr. Bikas Kumar Singh, Administrative Medical Superintendent, Dr Nitin Kansal and other members of the hospital team.
