Aluminium futures fall on low demand

Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Aluminium prices dropped by Rs 3.10 to Rs 326.50 per kg in the futures trade on Wednesday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July fell by Rs 3.10 or 0.94 per cent to Rs 326.50 per kg in 784 lots.

Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower. PTI DR DRR
