Kalyani Priyadarshan Shares Fresh Photos From Lokah Training Session: ‘I Am Far Stronger’

received widespread praise for its captivating storyline, intense action sequences, impressive VFX and blending of regional folklore with a modern narrative.

As Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra begins its OTT journey on JioHotstar, the actress recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the intense training sessions she underwent to prepare for her role in the film.

For Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, Kalyani underwent extensive martial arts training, incorporating elements of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and kickboxing for her lead role as the superhero. The clip she shared on Instagram shows the actress practising martial arts techniques under the guidance of her trainer.

Sharing the clip, she wrote in the caption, “Some journeys change you forever, and training for Chandra with Jophil Lal showed me that I’m far stronger than I ever believed. Thank you, coach, for being such a big part of that discovery. Sharing a glimpse of all that went into bringing this story to life – and from midnight tonight, Chandra is coming to your homes. About Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra

Lokah: Chapter 1: Chandra follows a mysterious woman named Chandra who arrives in Bengaluru from Sweden. She becomes entangled in a local organ trafficking ring, which forces her to confront her true identity as a supernatural being connected to the Kerala folklore figure, Kalliyankattu Neeli. The story blends modern-day events with myth and mysticism as Chandra, supported by unlikely allies, battles against sinister forces closing in on her.

Apart from Kalyani, the film also features Naslen, Sandy Master and Arun Kurian in significant roles.
