Getting chole bhature from a vending machine sounds unbelievable, but a recent video claims it’s happening in New Delhi. The clip shows a man standing in front of a machine that dispenses a hot plate of the
city’s beloved dish within seconds. After pressing a few buttons and waiting briefly, he proudly presents a freshly made plate, as if it were prepared right on the spot.
At first glance, the setup seems like a dream come true for street food lovers, especially in a city where chole bhature is a daily favourite. But before anyone rushes to find this vending machine, the truth behind the viral clip is quite different: it’s not real. Sharp-eyed viewers spotted strange, unreadable text on the machine and unnatural visuals, suggesting the video was created using AI.
Man Gets Fresh Plate Of Chole Bhature In Seconds
The video posted on Instagram came with the caption, “Dilli ki gali, iPhone ka shaky POV, aur saamne Chhola Bhatura Vending Machine. Button dabaya ‘Combo,’ machine ne ‘brrrrr’ bola, aur bhatura aankhon ke saamne fool gaya. Chole girte hi steam ne camera dhundla kar diya… log piche se: ‘Oye dekh bhai!’ Pure Delhi street chaos + asli taste = unbeatable. (A street in Delhi… shaky iPhone camera… and in front, a Chole Bhature vending machine. Pressed the ‘Combo’ button — the machine went ‘brrrrr’… and the bhature puffed up right before my eyes. As the Chole fell, the steam blurred the camera, people from behind said, ‘Hey, look brother.’ The full chaos of Delhi streets + real taste = unbeatable).”

Delhi Man Actually Builds India’s First Chhole Kulche Vending Machine
While the chole bhature vending machine in the viral video isn’t real, a man from Delhi has actually created India’s first authentic chole kulche vending machine. According to India Today, Sagar Malhotra, a former banker and Cambridge graduate, left his stable career after ten years to pursue his passion. Despite his good job and education, he wanted to build something of his own. His love for food inspired him to launch this unique business.
Instead of relying on the usual cooking process, he designed a special machine that serves the dish with different spice levels, mild, medium, or extra, simply by pressing a button. It took him a year to develop the machine. Along with adjustable spice options, it offers a choice of breads, including whole wheat and traditional maida bhaturas. The most impressive feature is that the machine delivers a fresh plate of chole in just 60 seconds.
