'You Are Not An Indian Citizen': Bombay HC Asks Imran Khan To Apologise For Instigating People On SIR, Grants Him Relief Till Dec 7

Bombay High Court on Monday said actor Imran Khan is not an Indian citizen and he is not even remotely affected by the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

A bench of Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi was hearing a plea by Imran Khan, who challenged a “Leave India Notice” issued to him by FRRO, Mumbai for participating in anti-CEC protests. The high court extended the stay on notice till December 7.

The bench observed that Imran Khan is not even remotely affected by SIR  and therefore he has no right to participate in these protests.

“You will have to apologise because all this is instigation,” it said.
