According to Pinkvilla, Vidya Balan has officially come on board Jailer 2, marking her return to a high-profile commercial entertainer and adding significant weight to the sequel’s narrative.

A source close to the production revealed that Vidya Balan was immediately drawn to the script and the complexity

of her character.
