WPL Mega Auction 2026 Live Streaming Details: With 277 players set to go under the hammer, the Women’s Premier League (WPL)’s first mega auction is all set to take place on Thursday, November 27, in New
Delhi. The players will be vying for 73 available slots at the auction.
The pool of players includes 194 Indian cricketers, combining 52 capped and 142 uncapped players, who will be going under the hammer for 50 slots. 83 overseas cricketers, including 66 capped internationals, will take part in the auction.
Each team is allowed to have up to 18 players in its squad. Of these, six can be overseas, and the minimum squad size is 15.
Five WPL franchises will be involved in the auction, and the action is set to kickstart with the marquee set, which will feature eight players — World Cup winners Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh, Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr, Sophie Ecclestone, Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning and Laura Wolvaardt.
Also, for the first time, WPL teams can avail the Right to Match (RTM) cards to buy back a player who was previously a part of their squad in 2025. As the WPL 2026 auction is all set to get underway, we take a look at all the key details about the event.
