All candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from paying fees.
Eligibility Criteria for Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed the SSC, Matriculation, or 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with at least 50 per cent marks from a recognised board. Additionally, they must have passed the ITI in a relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognised by the Government of India.
Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is between 15 and 24 years as of December 24, 2025.
Selection Process for Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025:
Selection will be based on a merit list created by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, SSC, or 10th (with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks) and ITI examinations, giving equal weightage to both.
In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. If the dates of birth are the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be considered first. A final merit list will be prepared by cluster, trade, and community, in descending order of the percentage of marks secured in SSC, Matriculation, or 10th and ITI.
