The makers of Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s upcoming courtroom drama, Haq, unveiled a new track titled Qubool, capturing the magnetic chemistry between the two leads. Composed by Vishal Mishra, the lyrics
were beautifully penned by Kaushal Kishore, with Armaan Khan lending his soulful voice to the track.
Since its release, Qubool has managed to strike a chord with the fans for its stirring expression of love that speaks through silence and longing.
The Qubool Music Video Captures Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s On-Screen Chemistry
The music video featured the stars’ on-screen romance through stages. From how their characters fell in love to the day of their marriage – the visuals carried a subtle old-school charm.
The music video showed Emraan and Yami’s characters spending quality time with each other, roaming around the garden, having dinner, and thoughtful gestures done by Emraan’s character.
“There’s a certain magic when music becomes the soul of a film, and Qubool does exactly that. Vishal has crafted a melody that feels alive with emotion, and it beautifully carries the heart of our story,” Emraan Hashmi said in an official statement.
Vishal Mishra said, “The music of Haq is rooted in emotion and the richness of Indian melodies and raagas. Qubool is a portrayal of love interwoven with Indian essence and contemporary expression. I aimed for the song to feel pure, personal yet cinematic, resonating with what the characters experience without excessive dialogue.”
Qubool is now available on Junglee Music across all streaming services and YouTube. The soundtrack of Haq promises additional emotional and touching moments with songs like Dil Tod Gaya Tu and another upcoming song to further capture as well as enhance the film’s emotional storytelling.
What Do We Know About Haq?
Directed by Suparn S. Varma, Haq is a courtroom drama inspired by the landmark 1985 Supreme Court judgement in the case of Mohd. Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano Begum. The film revolves around a woman’s relentless fight for her rights after she was abandoned by her husband. Alongside Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, the film also casts Sheeba Chaddha and Vartika Singh in other prominent roles. The film is set to hit the theatres on November 7, 2025.
