Rupali Ganguli starrer Anupamaa has entertained viewers with its riveting plotline. In tonight’s episode, Anupamafinds Ishani hiding under the bed. The moment transported Ishani back to her childhood, where she’d hide under the bed when troubled.
Anupama coaxes her out and tries to comfort her. Feeling remorseful, Ishani apologises for damaging Pari’s house. Meanwhile, Pakhi quietly removes all sharp objects from her room to ensure she cannot injure herself.
Later in the episode, Rahi faces humiliation when Vasundhara questions her presence at a meeting with a client and Mahi mocks her lack of formal education. Prem defends Rahi, valuing her life experiences. Despite this, Vasundhara’s jibe about Rahi being idle and the house needing help prompts
Rahi to offer to take up kitchen duties. Just as Rahi and Prem are about to leave, Parag reveals that Gautam will lead the meeting, leaving them both surprised.
Police arrive at Shah house
Meeta arrives at the Shah residence with police officers and accuses Pari of slapping Raja. Anupama tries to apologise on Pari’s behalf, but Meeta demands Pari apologise directly to her. Pari instead insults Raja, calling him a liar and a betrayer, prompting Meeta to lash out and label Pari a burden on society. Anupama intervenes and Meeta warns the family to cooperate while throwing Pari’s belongings out. She announces that they are looking for a new bride for Raja.
Anupama scolds Pari, saying she’s ruining her life. However, Pari vows not to let Raja get away with it. Ishani is frightened by Pari’s outburst. Meanwhile, Parag confronts Raja for hiding the truth about Pari. Rahi overhears about Meeta’s visit to the Shah house with the police and criticises her for not involving her first. Vasundhara seizes the opportunity to badmouth Rahi and Pari.
A fresh start
Later, it is revealed that Mahi tipped off Meeta about Pari slapping Raja. She claims that she was only trying to protect Raja. Rahi gets annoyed with Mahi’s meddling, while Vasundhara orders Rahi to focus on kitchen duties. Meanwhile, Anupama confesses how overwhelmed she feels managing her family but promises herself to hold them together no matter what. She decides to take Pari and Ishani to Mumbai for a fresh start so they can recover emotionally.
