Mamdani opened with giving Senegal star Sadio Mane the edge over Victor Osimhen, Brahim Diaz, before siding with Didier Drogba.
“As an Arsenal fan I have been traumatized by him,” he said.
He went on to pick the Chelsea legend over Samuel Eto’o and Michaedl Essien before swapping his pick for Mohamed Salah.
“Salah is the only one with a halal
truck named after him,” he joked.
The Arsenal fan in him emerged as he sided with former Arsenal star Nwankou Kanu and stuck with him over Abedi Pele, before picking Jay-Jay Okocha.”So good they named him twice”.
He held his ground as he saw John Obi-Mikel and Yaya Toure float by before picking former Ballon d’Or winner George Weah over Okocha as his last man standing.
Premier League toppers Arsenal secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Italian league leaders Inter Milan in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Gabriel Jesus scored twice, while Viktor Gyokeres added another goal for Mikel Arteta’s team, making Petar Sucic’s strike just a consolation.
Jesus opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but Sucic’s impressive strike soon equalised for Inter. However, Jesus restored Arsenal’s lead in the 31st minute. Gyokeres, coming off the bench, secured the victory with a late goal.
Elsewhere, Manchester City suffered a shock defeat against Bodo/Glimt. Kasper Waarts Hogh scored twice and Jens Petter Hauge also found the net for the Norwegian side in a 3-1 victory, rendering Rayan Cherki’s goal meaningless.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid returned to winning ways with a statement 6-1 victory over Monaco. Kylian Mbappe scored twice, while Franco Masantuano, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, and an own goal by Thilo Kehrer completed the rout for Los Blancos.
