Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NBK112 Titled Carpenter? Anirudh Ravichander Likely To Compose Music

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva are set to collaborate for the first time on the tentatively titled NBK112. The project was recently announced by the makers and has already sparked major curiosity among fans. Now, fresh reports suggest that the team may have locked the title of the film.

According to a report by Gulte, the pan-Indian action drama has reportedly been titled Carpenter.

NBK112 To Be Titled Carpenter?

As per the report, Carpenter is being planned as a mass action entertainer with strong commercial elements. The title is said to have been chosen keeping pan-Indian appeal in mind, while also aligning with Balakrishna’s larger-than-life screen image.

The makers, however, have not officially confirmed the title yet.

Apart

from the title buzz, reports also suggest that Anirudh Ravichander has been brought on board as the film’s music composer. If true, this will mark Anirudh’s first collaboration with Nandamuri Balakrishna and his second film with Koratala Siva after Devara: Part 1. Pooja Ceremony And Shoot Timeline

Reports claim that NBK112 will have its pooja ceremony on May 21, 2026. The film is expected to begin regular shooting in July this year.

The makers are reportedly eyeing a summer 2027 theatrical release for the film.

NBK112 was announced with a poster featuring Balakrishna, after which several fans began wondering about the status of Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 2. The filmmaker had last directed Jr NTR in Devara: Part 1, which ended with a tease for a sequel. However, there has been no official update yet on whether Devara: Part 2 has been delayed or shelved.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Work Front

Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The fantasy action drama served as a sequel to Akhanda and also starred Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menon and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles.

The film received mixed-to-negative reviews and underperformed at the box office.

Apart from NBK112, Balakrishna is also set to collaborate with director Gopichandh Malineni on another project, tentatively titled NBK111.
