India’s event scene ignites in January 2026 with unmissable cultural and musical highlights! Lollapalooza India rocks Mumbai and will be headlined by Linkin Park’s historic debut, and Tiesto will set the stage on fire in Delhi. On the other hand, sitarist Anoushka Shankar will have her audience in a trance in Kolkata. Storytelling shines at Afsana: Somaiya Festival, celebrating Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Adivasi folklore. The Sula Wine Fest is something to look forward to in Nashik, and wellness gets a new boost with the Soul Fest taking place in Mumbai.

Lollapalooza in Mumbai

Lollapalooza India is back for its fourth edition and will be taking place this

weekend. This time around, Linkin Park and Playboi Carti will be headlining the concert. The music festival celebrates diverse, genre-spanning sounds across four stages, blending iconic acts with breakthrough talent for two electric days of soaring ballads, euphoric sing-alongs, raw punk energy, subterranean basslines, and fearless collaborations.

Linkin Park, the GRAMMY winners with 100M+ records sold, will make its India debut and perform their iconic numbers like “In the End,” “Numb,” “Crawling,” and fresh hits like “Lost”. Anoushka Shankar in Kolkata

The city of Joy is set to welcome the international sitarist, who has earned several firsts – the youngest and first female recipient of a British House of Commons Shield, the first Indian woman to perform live at the Grammy® Awards, the first Indian woman to be nominated and one of the first five female composers to have been added onto the UK A-level music syllabus. Anoushka Shankar in June 2024 was the recipient of an honorary degree in music from Oxford University.
