An Instagram content creator, Cassy Pareira, has taken the internet by surprise after spending a day with a popular street-side momos seller in Bengaluru and revealing his staggering earnings. According to the post, the seller behind the famous KK Momos earns nearly Rs 31 lakh per month, with an approximate daily income of Rs 1 lakh, outpacing the starting salary of many B.Com graduates in India.
In her now-viral video, Pareira documented her experience working at the stall for an entire day. She assisted with serving, frying, refilling supplies, and managing the heavy inflow of customers.
“It’s crazy how famous this shop actually is,” he asked in the clip, adding that within just one hour, they sold 118 plates of momos. As the day progressed,
the crowd only grew larger.
By closing time, the stall had sold around 950 plates. With each plate priced at Rs 110, the daily revenue came close to Rs 1,00,000. “Through hard work and consistency, he earns in lakhs,” he added, praising the vendor’s dedication and business idea.
Social Media Reacts To Bengaluru Momo Seller’s Business Venture
A user said, “Vacancy hain toh mujhe internship par rakh lo?” and a comment also read, “Bhaiyaa kaam pe laga lo plj.”
One calculated, “If he spends 1 minute with a customer, 900 plates would take him 900 minutes to serve, which is equivalent to 15 hours, that too if he doesn’t take any breaks. Clearly a lie.”
Another added, “950 plates are totally unrealistic.”
A reality check was there for many when a comment read, “Fam, that’s not even what i earn in a year.” But, to counter it, with light humour, one said, “Aa gaye Ambani ji ke competition.”
