New Delhi, Aug 10 (PTI) Jubilant Pharmova Ltd on Monday reported a 45 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 56.4 crore in the first quarter ended June, hit by higher expenses and depreciation.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 102.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Jubilant Pharmova Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Consolidated total revenue from operations in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 2,229.4 crore, up from Rs 1,900.7 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Total expenses in the quarter under review stood higher at Rs 2,162.9 crore, compared to Rs 1,758.2 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company said.
Commenting on the performance, in a joint statement, Shyam S Bhartia, Chairman, and Hari S Bhartia, Co-Chairman
& Non-Executive Director, Jubilant Pharmova Ltd, said, “Revenue growth is broad-based across all our business segments, but particularly strong in contract development and manufacturing of sterile injectables on the back of technology transfer revenues from the new and third line.” PAT margins in the first quarter decreased due to lower operating profitability and higher depreciation, they added.
