SBI Funds Management Ltd., the asset management arm of India’s largest lender, State Bank of India, has announced the price band for its much-awaited initial public offering (IPO). The public issue, worth Rs 11,692.91 crore, is set to become the biggest IPO of 2026 so far.
The IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS), which means the company will not receive any proceeds from the issue.
SBI Funds Management IPO Price Band
SBI Funds Management has fixed the IPO price band at Rs 545 to Rs 574 per equity share. Each equity share has a face value of Rs 1.
The issue comprises an Offer for Sale of more than 20 crore equity shares.
SBI Funds Management IPO Size
The IPO is valued at Rs 11,692.91 crore, making it the largest public issue of 2026 so far.
Since the issue is a 100% Offer for Sale, no fresh equity shares will
be issued, and SBI Funds Management will not receive any funds from the IPO. The proceeds will go to the selling shareholder.
At the upper end of the price band, the company is expected to command a market capitalisation of nearly Rs 1.17 lakh crore.
SBI Stake After The IPO
State Bank of India currently owns 98.19% of SBI Funds Management. Following the completion of the Offer for Sale, its stake will decline to 88.19%, while remaining well above the minimum public shareholding requirement of 75%.
