BTS fans can hardly contain their excitement as Jung Kook teases the group’s highly anticipated 2026 comeback. The K-pop superstar is the latest cover star for Elle Korea, appearing on nine different versions

of the magazine’s December issue. While promoting his partnership with Chanel Beauty, Jung Kook gave fans a glimpse into what the first half of next year has in store.

“I think this spring will be more important than ever,” he said, hinting at BTS’ upcoming album and tour. “So I sincerely hope you all have a safe and enjoyable spring.” His comments come as the septet prepares to reunite after completing their mandatory military service.

BTS Returns After Military Hiatus

Earlier this year, members RM, Suga, V, and Jimin were discharged from the South Korean military in June. Shortly afterward, they reunited with Jin and j-hope on camera to announce that a new BTS album and tour were in the works. In October, RM further teased fans, saying, “Please look forward to late March,” signaling that the group’s activities will officially kick off in the spring of 2026.

While BTS was on hiatus, the members focused on individual projects. Jung Kook released his solo track “Never Let Go” during the summer of 2024, marking his first solo work in over a year.
