New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) Two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp Ltd on Tuesday reported a 26 per cent rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 1,473.92 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, riding on robust sales volumes.
The company, which had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,168.75 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal, said its board has approved the re-appointment of Pawan Munjal as Executive Chairman for another term of five years with effect from October 1, 2026, subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing 43rd AGM.
Its consolidated revenue from operations in the fourth quarter stood at Rs 12,978.28 crore against Rs 9,969.81 crore in the year-ago period, Hero MotoCorp Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
During
the quarter, vehicle sales stood at 17.14 lakh units, a growth of 24 per cent over the year-ago period, it said.
Total expenses in the quarter under review were higher at Rs 11,295.53 crore compared to Rs 8,750.13 crore a year ago.
The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per share of face value of Rs 2 per equity share, subject to shareholders’ approval, it added.
For FY26, consolidated PAT was Rs 5,775.7 crore against Rs 4,375.81 crore in FY25, the company said.
The consolidated revenue from operations in FY26 stood at Rs 47,411.24 crore compared to Rs 40,923.42 crore in FY25, it added.
Hero MotoCorp CEO Harshavaradhan Chitale said FY26 marked “a defining chapter” for the company.
“This growth was broad-based, driven by a strong premium and EV product portfolio and momentum across both domestic and global markets,” he added.
“We are encouraged by the supportive government policies, positive consumer loyalty and sentiment, and the accelerating shift towards electrification and premiumisation.
“These factors position us well for FY27, as we continue to lead the industry’s transition towards sustainable and innovative mobility solutions,” Chitale said.
Hero MotoCorp said its performance in FY26 was anchored by consistent gains in the core ICE business, with the company expanding its market share across key segments.
“Growth was broad-based across 100cc-125cc, scooters and premium motorcycle segments, powered by a series of well-received product refreshes and the company’s highest-ever festive season,” it added.
The company further said its global business also closed FY26 at an all-time high of 4.03 lakh units, with 40 per cent year-on-year growth driven by consistent performance across key international markets.
Hero MotoCorp expanded its global footprint to 52 countries with new market entries in Europe and the UK, it said, adding that the Harley-Davidson business also delivered 26 per cent growth in dispatch volume. PTI RKL BAL BAL
