Mahhi Vij Confirms She Is NOT Participating In Lock Upp 2: ‘I Was Being Considered…’

‘Lock Upp 2’ is one of the most highly-anticipated reality shows, and rumours about the contestant list have been swirling on the Internet since the last few days. Mahhi Vij’s name was among those doing the rounds online. However, the actress has now put speculations to rest, clarifying that she is not participating in the reality show this year.

Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram stories to clarify that she won’t be participating in Lock Upp 2. Even though she was approached by the makers, and she added that she may consider participating next year. For now, she has chosen to take a break and go on a vacation with her daughter Tara.

“To all of those who are asking if I am doing Lock Upp 2. So I am not doing Lock Upp 2. I am in fact, going on a vacation

with my daughter. And yes, I was being considered and there were talks. Maybe next year! But this year I am going on a vacation with my cutie,” she said in her Instagram stories.

Rashami Desai Denies Being Part Of Lock Upp 2

Meanwhile, Rashami Desai also recently shut down rumours of her  participation in Lock Upp 2, saying she has no connection with the reality show despite her name repeatedly surfacing in contestant rumours.

Setting the record straight, Rashami said, “Let me be very honest, it is not about Lock Upp. Any reality show comes, people take my name and spread the rumours. I don’t like it anymore. So, I am not doing Lock Upp and this is my official statement.” Speaking to The Free Press Journal, the actress revealed that she is balancing her professional commitments with work on her own venture.

As of now, only three contestants of Lock Upp 3 have officially been announced by the makers- Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi and Pamala Serena.

Meanwhile, celebrities rumoured to be participating include Pranit More, Sunita Ahuja, Shilpa Shinde, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Urvashi Dholakia, Vikas Gupta, Yogesh Rawat, Akanksha Choudhary, Archana Gautam, among others. So far, neither the streaming platform nor the makers have confirmed their participation.
