Rani Mukerji, one of the industry’s most admired actresses, is basking in the success of her latest release, Mardaani 3. Since the release of the film, critics and audiences have praised Rani’s performance as a cop. In the latest, to celebrate the success of the film, the actress had a special meet and greet with female police officers in Mumbai.
In the pictures that have surfaced on the internet, Rani could be seen with a few officers outside the Juhu police station. In another snap, she was seen posing in front of a police jeep. Rani Mukerji, who reprised her role as tough officer Shivani Shivaji Roy in the film.

Speaking about the success of the film, she told
PTI, “It was important that the film gets love in theatres from audiences. I can’t express how happy I am to see the love that it is receiving in the third week of its release. To get this kind of love from audiences for a female-led film in this entire environment is a healthy thing for the industry. I think it will inspire other producers to bring out such stories. This film talks about women’s empowerment, women in uniform. I’ve to thank the people of India for their love and support and it’s because of this that we can celebrate the success of the film.”

Mardaani 3 represents yet another milestone in Rani Mukerji’s remarkable career, which just celebrated 30 years in Indian cinema. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film lives up to the franchise’s reputation for taking on challenging and socially significant issues. Rani Mukerji made a strong comeback to the big screen in Mardaani 3, reprising her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy, one of Bollywood’s most renowned female police officers. Abhiraj Minawala directs Mardaani 3, which stars Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in important roles. The plot follows Rani’s character, Shivani, as she investigates the mysterious disappearance of 93 young girls over three months. Pradeep Sarkar directed the first instalment of the Mardaani franchise in 2014, and Gopi Puthran directed the second.
