Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) Paradeep Phosphates Ltd on Tuesday reported a nearly 24 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 392.54 crore for the quarter ended in June and said it will invest Rs 250 crore to set up an aluminium fluoride plant.
Its net profit stood at Rs 316.75 crore in the year-ago period.
The total income rose to Rs 6,145.82 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 4,537.55 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing.
The company said the board has approved setting up an aluminium fluoride manufacturing plant with a capacity of 15,000 tonnes per annum at Paradeep, Odisha. PTI MJH MJH MR
