Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday became household names after the massive success of Saiyaara, which went on to emerge as a blockbuster at the box office. As Ahaan Panday celebrates his 28th birthday today, his co-star Aneet marked the occasion with a deeply emotional Instagram post that has left fans moved. Sharing unseen pictures and videos, the actress poured her heart out in a long note, expressing admiration, pride and love for her on-screen Saiyaara.
Aneet’s post not only highlighted Ahaan’s personal journey but also touched upon the impact he has had on people around him, including her own family.
Aneet Padda’s Emotional Birthday Tribute
Aneet Padda shared a series of rare pictures and videos of Ahaan Panday on Instagram. One image showed a young Ahaan posing with his late grandmother,
while another clip featured the actor adorably playing with a cat. These intimate glimpses added depth to the already emotional message that accompanied the post.
In her note, Aneet wrote, “I’ve seen the future. I’ve seen passersby smile when you laugh out loud, they can’t help it. I’ve seen colours change in the world around, when your eyes are lost in thought admiring an old woman, watering her plants, unaware. I’ve seen the scribbles in your notepad, holding the musings of an unusual mind, rare and magical. The change of your camera lens, stubborn in its search for beauty in the mundane.”
She went on to speak about how deeply trusted and loved Ahaan is by her family, adding, “I’ve seen you be so selfless. I’ve seen my mom and dad trusting you deeply, beaming with love when they ask ‘ahaan kiven ae? theek hai na?’ every video call. I’ve seen Deanne aunty cry every time she sees your face on that poster.”
‘You Were Always A Star’
Aneet further reflected on how she had always believed in Ahaan’s future and is now witnessing it unfold. She wrote, “Pride mixed with disbelief at her son’s kindness, his soul—at the man she raised. I’ve seen a stranger having a better day, after talking to you. I’ve seen the security guard waiting for his daily chat with you at 2pm sharp. I’ve seen the world stop and stare at you before it knew why. Before it met its saiyaara on a movie screen. You were always a star, dadi was always proud. I saw the future then and I see it now. It’s all set to come true.”
Concluding her note, the actress added, “Happy birthday ahaana, i will always be proud of the person you are. Thank you for giving the world the gift of you.”
The post quickly went viral, drawing an emotional response from Ahaan himself, who commented, “No words do justice to what I felt after reading this.”
Meanwhile, Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office and featured Alam Khan, Rajesh Kumar, Geeta Agarwal Sharma, Shaad Randhawa, Shaan Grover, Sid Makkar and Varun Badola in key roles.
