Thane, Sep 9 (PTI ) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has embarked on a two-day official visit to London after receiving a special invitation to address two events at the British Parliament, officials said on Wednesday.
During his visit, the deputy CM Shinde will also be honoured with three international awards recognising his public service, transparent governance, and welfare initiatives, a release from his office said.
He will receive the Commonwealth Public Leadership Recognition, Statesmanship Award and Global Pride of Maharashtra award.
On Thursday, Shinde will attend the ‘International Conclave 2026: Global Business & Investment Dialogue’ at the House of Commons as the chief guest, hosted by the Indo-European Business Forum
and the World Leadership Forum, the release added. PTI COR GK
