TCS
The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has upheld the District Court’s ruling that TCS must pay $194 million in damages to Computer Sciences Corporation/DXC Technology. While the earlier injunction has been vacated, the matter has been sent back
to the District Court in Dallas for reassessment. TCS says it is examining all legal options, including a possible appeal.
RVNL
Rail Vikas Nigam has once again emerged as the lowest bidder—this time for a Rs 180.8 crore project from North Eastern Railway. The contract involves OHE modification and feeder wire work for upgrading the 2×25 kV traction system in the Lucknow division.
Tata Power
The company has taken a significant step in Bhutan’s hydropower space by signing commercial agreements with Druk Green Power Corporation for the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydroelectric Project. Tata Power has committed an equity investment of Rs 1,572 crore.
HG Infra Engineering & Kalpataru Projects International
Their joint venture has been picked as the L-1 bidder for a Rs 1,415 crore contract awarded by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation. The project includes designing and constructing an elevated metro viaduct for the Thane Integral Ring Metro.
Lupin, Natco Pharma & Shilpa Medicare
A cluster of compliance updates from pharma companies:
- Lupin’s Goa facility received a Form 483 with seven observations after a US FDA inspection.

HUDCO
