Ananya Panday has praised the trailer of Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Soon after the much-talked-about trailer was released online, Ananya shared her excitement and expressed support for the two actors, whose action-packed avatars have already created a buzz among fans.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Ananya Panday shared the trailer and wrote, “I love when kickass girls kick major ass @aliabhatt @sharvari The coolest and the best always @iambobbydeol @anilkapoor @hrithikroshan.” Janhvi Kapoor shared the trailer video and wrote, “Rooting for this one.. So excited to see two badass kick butt in this universe..looking so cool @aliabhatt @sharvari and Chahu @anilkapoor @bobbydeol.” Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari
in key roles. The film is touted as the first female-led instalment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2. Alpha will hit the big screens on July 3, 2026.

The trailer begins with Bobby Deol revealing the name of Alia Bhatt’s character, Sita. He is then seen training her for an secret mission. We then see Alia Bhatt performing some intense stunts. In one particular scene, Alia’s character cites reference from the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana and says, “Sita aaj Lanka khud jalane aaye hai”. In another scene, Alia also refers to “agni pariksha”. She is then seen getting into a combat with Sharvari. We also see Anil Kapoor getting into a face-off with Bobby Deol. Hrithik Roshan also makes a short surprise appearance in the trailer. It is interesting to see Alia Bhatt’s Alpha trailer has several references from Ramayana. For those unaware, the actress was previously offered Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana to play the role of Sita. However, she could not sign the project due to date related issues. Alia’s real life husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Ram in the movie.
Ananya Panday’s work front
The actress currently seen in Chand Mera Dil with Lakshya. The film, directed by Vivek Soni and co-written with Tushar Paranjape, hit theatres on May 22 and opened to mixed reactions from both critics and audiences. According to trade tracking site Sacnilk, the film added ₹1.30 crore net on its second Friday, taking its overall domestic total to ₹20.75 crore. This comes after a first week that ended at ₹19.45 crore. On the storytelling front, Chand Mera Dil follows the journey of two college students, played by Ananya Panday and Lakshya, whose relationship is tested as they step into adulthood and begin dealing with responsibilities that reshape their understanding of love. The film explores how young romance evolves when faced with real-world pressure and changing priorities. Produced by Dharma Productions, the project has seen multiple postponements before finally arriving in theatres.
