As soon as the children exited the airport, Genelia D’Souza and the other parents gave them the warmest welcome. They broke into an impromptu dance. Genelia was seen joyfully hugging her little one the moment he stepped out of the arrival gate.

Just a couple of days ago, the Sitaare Zameen Par star shared a sweet family moment from Mumbai International Airport as her elder son, Riaan, prepared to fly solo for the first time. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Genelia posted a video capturing her husband, Riteish Deshmukh, and their younger son, Rahyl, giving Riaan a warm hug before he headed towards the airport gates for his school camp.

The moment was emotional for Genelia, as she revealed in the caption that this was Riaan’s first solo flight. Reflecting a mix of pride and emotion, the doting mom wrote, “First flight without us. It was always about firsts with us, slowly getting used to the firsts without us. Go live, little one, grow, experience life – Aai/Baba/Rahyo/Flash will be waiting at home for you.”

What’s Next For Genelia D’Souza?

On the cinematic front, the 38-year-old appeared in two films in 2025. She made her acting comeback as Sunita in the Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par and later starred as Vijaya Soujanya in the bilingual movie Junior.

Up next, she is set to grace the screens in a Marathi movie titled Raja Shivaji. Scheduled for a release in 2026, Genelia will not only act but also produce the film. Following this, she will be seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Station Mein Bhoot alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Ramya Krishnan.

Fans will also see her in a high-octane family action drama titled Gunmaster G9. Made under the direction of Aditya Datt, the film features her alongside Aparshakti Khurrana, Emraan Hashmi, and Abhishek Singh. Gunmaster G9, backed by Deepak Mukut and Hunar Mukut under the Soham Rockstar Entertainment banner, is said to hit the theatres in 2026.
