Rani Mukerji To Reprise Fierce Cop In Mardaani 3; Makers Release First Poster On Navratri Day 1

Yash Raj Films marked the auspicious beginning of Navratri by unveiling a new poster of Mardaani 3 that sets up the impending epic battle between good and evil! Rani Mukerji once again reprises her unanimously loved role of the daredevil cop Shivani Shivaji Roy.

The poster drop, with the powerful devotional chant of Aigiri Nandini that celebrates Maa Durga’s power when she kills the demon Mahisasura, hints at how Shivani will need all her resolve to solve a brutal case and put her life at risk for the same. The poster, while it didn’t show Rani’s face, has her hands holding a revolver.

While dropping the poster on their official handle, the production house wrote, “On the auspicious Day 1 of Navratri, here’s to celebrating the victory of good

over evil. #RaniMukerji returns as top cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3 to investigate the most challenging case of her career. Mardaani 3 in cinemas 27th February, 2026.”

While reacting to the first poster of the film, fans started showing their excitement. One wrote, “Pahli actress hai Rani Mukherjee jinki Mardaani film series bina hero ke chali hai.” Another fan shared, “Pahli actress hai Rani Mukherjee jinki solo film bhi chali hai, kisi hero ki zarurat nahi.” A third fan wrote, “Ye Singham Again ki jagah agar ek Singham x Mardaani crossover banate to jyada badiya rehta.”

The Mardaani series, which is the only hit female-led movie franchise of India, has consistently struck a chord with audiences for its hard-hitting narratives that serve as an eye-opener for society, forcing everyone to acknowledge the heinous crimes that are committed every day in our country.
